Phenylarsine oxide (PhAsO4) is a bifunctional SH-based chemical. It is hydrophobic in nature. Phenylarsine oxide (PAO) reduces the vigor and sustainability of dogwood. In the presence of EGTA (ethylene glycol-bis (β-aminoethyl ether) N,N,N′,N′-), it has the ability to stimulate the transformation of cyclosporin A-sensitive forms. It acts as a stimulator of mitochondrial ion flux.Phenylarsine oxide inhibits the internalization of cell surface receptors; inhibits tyrosine phosphatases and has no effect on tyrosine kinases. Metabolic Toxicity.
